While I can't exactly read the script at the main screen, I think this is a very original tribute to the long and well played Metal Slug series.

To comment on 123ims review, I'd have to say that he obviously has never played the Metal Slug games or he'd realize that's just how Easy it was to die in those ones too.

Well damn, that must have taken a hell of a time to put draw, animate, and otherwise fit together... though I also wonder where E. Honda was, other than the one Egoraptor short. I guess he remains unloved.
